BD has a lot of companies knocking on the door for there services and one of the few they picked was AMBS.

Uh, huh, that's like saying that Fed Ex or Apple have a lot of people 'knocking on their door' for services and product, but that you are one of the few they picked to let YOU use/buy from THEM.

How is it that the fundamental relationship between supplier and customer is so frequently misunderstood on this board?!

AMBS is a client for BD blood test assay services.

Maybe it was a sales call from BD to AMBS to secure AMBS assay business. Maybe AMBS called up BD Biosciences to contract for BD services.
