This is a huge key for me concerning my investments. So I thought I would share. Please God and ask what you want.
Their was a time in king Solomon's life that he pleased God very much, Walking in His statutes, Sacrificing and offerings made to the Lord all mighty. God saw his life workings and appeared to him in a dream and said:
ASK WHAT I SHALL GIVE THEE.
Solomon asked for Wisdom and Understanding.
And God said unto him: BECAUSE YOU HAVE ASKED FOR THESE THINGS AND NOT ASKED FOR RICHES FOR YOURSELF BUT FOR UNDERSTANDING TO DISCERN JUDGMENT. BEHOLD I HAVE DONE ACCORDING TO THY WORDS.
The Lord then went on and gave Solomon things that he didn't ask for too like Riches and Honor.
All the Lord asked for in return was that Solomon walk in the Lord's ways and keep His statutes and commandments.
Solomon awoke from his dream and must of said to himself IMO. "Oh Man that was a good dream" LOL
