That's a good topic. I suspect the same parties would agree or disagree as usual. I agree with you. It is incredible how much the cost of higher education has gone through the roof. Why??? Where is the money going? You are right that it appears to be pricing out of the market the lower and middle classes, except for the fact that more people have a college degree today than at anytime in the past. I suppose they are just charging it like everything else.
I, of course, don't believe any of the conspiracy theories about some big master plan to create a subservient society to serve only the select few rich people that survive the eventual meltdown of the US standard of living. However, malicious intent or not, it is a very good possibility the way things are developing.
