8 minute phone call with Warren Hawkins.
court proceedings, there has been some discussion about a potential settlement. resolution, court scheduled to be finished may 24. the main defendant in the action has had a serious stroke about 1 month ago and he can't testify, there was an adjournment 1 month ago, which was read out in court this past Monday; he is pretty much a vegetable. Take 23 years litigation, sometimes these problems become manifest, problem for the court to get the decision. Another doctor assessment coming up in May. Has to wait a few more weeks for that. 1 more witness for about a day in court. Closing arguments in May. Couple more weeks to go. Hoping they will get a favourable judgement, hoping sometime later in May. Still need to wait another month or so. Has been discussion pertaining to settlement, the liens on the mining property would then be removed. This is they KEY item. month or two, scheduled to go back in court on May 18 with the final witness and so that will be about 1 day. Then another day for closing arguments, day and half. Around May 20th is when they should have the court wrapped up.
