Armada Oil, Inc. (“the Company”) was formed by the combination of Armada Oil, Inc. and Mesa Energy, Inc. in March of 2013. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company currently owns producing oil properties in Plaquemines and Lafourche Parishes in Louisiana, developmental properties in Garfield and Major Counties, OK and Wyoming County, NY and controls strategic acreage positions in and around the Laramie and Hanna Basins in Southern Wyoming in the liquids-rich Niobrara Play.
The Company is continuing its recompletion and workover program in south Louisiana and is planning drilling projects in all three of its core operating areas. The Company controls approximately 8,750 net mineral acres in Carbon County, Wyoming by virtue of its farmout agreement with Anadarko Petroleum. In northern Oklahoma, the Company controls approximately 3,200 acres in the Mississippian Limestone play.
In south Louisiana, through Mesa’s acquisition of Tchefuncte Natural Resources, LLC in 2011 and its subsequent combination with Armada, the Company has existing production in five fields as well as a significant number of proved undeveloped (“PUD”) drilling locations on leasehold of approximately 7,189 acres.
The Company also owns non-core properties in Wyoming County, New York as well as in Gonzales and Young Counties, Texas.
