And in the U.S. marijuana is still a schedule I drug! From the Justice department:

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Schedule I drugs are the most dangerous drugs of all the drug schedules with potentially severe psychological or physical dependence. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are:

heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), methaqualone, and peyote

Uruguay legalizing marijuana doesn't have anything to do with SKTO.

Even it SKTO was a real company - state legalization has no meaning to any MMJ company as it is still a Federal crime to buy and sell marijuana.

The MMJ movement can't get it re-scheduled - so legalization is years away.

Times are a changing. Look at the news in the LA Times today. Uruguay is about to become the first COUNTRY to legalize Marijuana.
