the thing I'm unclear on is.....My understanding was that on "non-substantive" matters, GOOG could simply refile without asking court's permission by following the rules posted in your last message. But, my understanding was they COULD change their appeal, even if on SUBSTANTIVE matters, IF the court granted them that privilege. So, the appeals court COULD still grant them the ability to re-brief..........?
