they need buildings?...they are building them..they have the backing and money to do it...
seems to me their manufacturing will be high tech vs kblb's low tech...if the products should end up being comparable, kblb loses...they will be relegated to a niche player...
I'm not sure what the cost is, but isn't also true that with the bacteria that spiber uses take a long time to generate a small quantity? Witch would make scaling up a very slow process for them. Randy lewis sunrise video talks about 218kg in alfalfa about 4-5 years. Red said we can to 50kg in 18days on one warm farm.
