I interpreted the statement to mean that our MonsterSilk is so thin, strong and unique that current machinery would need to be retooled and calibrated to handle the MS strands to twist into thread which then is used to produce other rope, cordage and fabric.

SSM is a producer of Kevlar and other specialty fibers, textiles and finished goods for military, commercial and consumer use. Therefore the reeled silk could be sent to SSM and finished goods could conceivably be manufactured and sold to wholesalers or end users.

The question remains, have KBLB and SSM been working secretly to set up a production operation to manufacture fabric or finished goods for one or more customers?

This is my theory and opinion based on observations, conversations and PR's.
