Dr Bill: Straight up??

Once again, just so others here understand more clearly, there are problems and then there are PROBLEMS! I must clarify that there is indeed a difference. That is why I said what I said before. I didn't speak around the issue. I just didn't speak as clearly as I could about the issue.

In other words, yes, there is a slight problem, but it is NOT the kind of problem that would dare to destroy a great project or kill an excellent idea. So what is the problem? Well, as the current Jet Motor design performs today, it is only better than Weatherford's MacDrill, but Swinford wants it to be a lot better, not just better.

You asked a rather pointed question: "Is the jet motor dead in the water?" So I answer you with a rather succinct and direct and very adamant, "No!" You then asked in all sincerity, "Did the first three fail in the field?" -- a very direct question, to which I also answer you with a very direct, "No!"

As far as I can verify, thus far, there were 35 Jet Motors of that first set of 50 being worked in the field AND generating revenue. And it was during this first shipment that the need arose for a much-needed refinement. Again, this was not seen as a refinement to fix a PROBLEM; it was only a refinement to make it perform better than the MacDrill (please, allow me to interject something here: You say you don't give a #### about the MacDrill; O but you must! They are our major competitor! If you cannot far outshine your competitor, why compete?) It is unavoidable ignorance on your part (this, I understand) in why you mention any patent infringement, because the MacDrill is a PDM (a positive displacement motor), and a PDM, the Jet Motor is NOT! Although both are designed to do the same job, the technologies utilized in them are totally different.

Now, in order to properly test a redesign, the Jet Motor has been sent to do selective jobs. Thus, there is some weakness in your brilliant theory about seeing no revenue from the Jet Motor. It is generating revenue, even while being tested out in the field. In fact, it is very respectable revenue.

So when will the Jet Motor be fully released, then, for final production? Very soon! You must understand that the MacDrill has a record of performance, so you must also understand that the Jet Motor must lay down a performance record that exceeds it by a mile. This is a tool in its early stages. You think it is all just about putting out an initial design and hoping for the best? No way! It is far more than that!

In order to make the Jet Motor the overwhelming success that it can be, Swinford must ensure it operates according to his strict performance standards. Once his approval is met, the Jet Motor will surely be disseminated in enormous quantities, because everyone in this industry will want it!
