Publicly traded companies use a transfer agent. These transfer agents are responsible to interact with the company in sending out agendas to shareholders,regarding matters of voting issues, arranging for year end reports that the company wants sent to shareholders, tabulating shareholder votes on issues and reporting them, and periodically and upon request sending a list of shareholders and the amount of shares they own to the company. So yes, mr. Bolduc knows who owns what and if they are adding to their position or disposing of it.
