Whole new world out there if you been out for 5 years or longer. I just got back in a year ago and was blown away by what is for sale online as well as the info available.
I have a 55 in livingroom with one huge red melon, one juve melon, two checkerboards, one blue panda, one blue turk, one snakeskin.
In masterbedroom have another 55 with 8 juves in there that are a cross between a spotted rsg I believe they call it and a yellow crystal.
Have 29 gallon tank where the Dad is taking care of 12 17 day old fry right now.
Have 20 gallon tank where Mom is waiting for Dad to be put back in.
Had to seperate them as the mom went to breed again and the fry need more time before they no longer need to eat off of Dads slime coat for food. Few more days and they should be weened off dad and can get my next batch going.
My computer surrounded by these 3 tanks. Discus are coolest fish out there imo. Learning curve is steep though as is the $$$ to care and buy them.
