Dr Bill: Problems?

Not really! Unless you consider wanting to be superior to the MacDrill as problems! I honestly don't think that Swinford et al want something that is only as good as the MacDrill; oh no, they want something that is MUCH BETTER! Why settle on just a tool that's just as good, when you can chase after a tool that is much, much better??

Weatherford's MacDrill has its own set of reliability issues, often freezing up downhole, causing very valuable job delays -- it is a completely unpredictable tool. In fact, many companies will prefer to use a more conventional motor, rather than a MacDrill, even knowing they might need to replace that motor if it happens to be destroyed while in use, due to the extreme downhole conditions often encountered. Believe me! You do not want a repeat performance of MacDrill's record of reliability.

Please, don't misunderstand me now. By all conceivable measures, we have in the Jet Motor a downhole tool that already exceeds MacDrill's performance. But we don't want a tool that only just exceeds it. No, we really want a tool that will blow it clean out of the water.
