Poweralker you are right and I tried to say that HRT has never said 30 billion BOE for Moosehead but that is what the article said. This is where YOUR question of where the 30 billion barrels of oil question was asked. I hope I answered that via the article that I attached.
Now I believe it might be 30 billion if you hit and then drilled additional wells in the entire prospect which if you think about it might make sense. Why would one only well yield 3-4 billion gallons of oil if the prospect was 40 miles wide. Why wouldnt you drill more wells to drill for greater amounts of oil. That is what they CALL AN OIL FIELD..........Not 1 but many wells in an area.

Consider this....If the oil well that hit in the NORTH SEA was only 1 then HOW MUCH OIL would it of produced? Do you think they didnt drill more wells a 1/2 mile away trying to hit the same oil trend? If you say NO then check out the facts on the wells drilled. It will show hundreds of additional wells drilled to yield billions of additonal oil wells. Even the ones that would be none commercial if you have the infrastructure to pump them they are commercial. Wingat would be an example of that.
