Here's another thought. Can the company ever get the bond offering filled if the share price trades at these levels? It seems to me that people are much more inclined to subscribe for the bond if the stock is trading at $1 (with at least 50% potential downside).
In fact, the company (insiders) could savagely boost the stock after Aug 16 and make the bond a viable option.
