I tried to sell on that big run and would not execute even at .50 lower than the the askk/bid price..

Oh if we all could only know when a bottom hits or a top is reached.

Everyone has their own comfort zone. I have missed a lot of big runs simply because the profit available was too big for me to risk missing. Can't kick yourself over those, those are someone else's runs after you sell.

I would rather do that than price a penny too high and miss selling entirely I did that with FNMA a couple of times, although I think it will work out better in the long run.

Study, study, study. (and don't spend too much time on message boards! :)

Zargis has talked about this. He mentions several parameters to which you must be very aware. I particularly remember about the RSI 14. It seems when it reaches about above 90's is when the run is about to stop. Look through Zargis posts, he has documented it very fine.
