Audits for the year do not change. The audits, if they were done, and signed off on, can not change. what will be needed possibly is further audits on both companies, for however long it takes until they finally merge. That may mean that a 2 year audit done 3 months ago would have to be changed to show this quarter, rather than the quarter 2 years ago.
