I found this in a forum related to iOS app approval. It looks like only a couple days were the waiting time for this person. They noted the rejection on 01/30/12, and they posted that it had been approved on 02/01/12.

That forum was from a year and half ago, I can see the time frame being different nowadays... But it's a stepping stone.
