A lot of mining deals come in at 60-40 or even 70-30 when full scale mine planning and infrastructure is involved. I am assuming JB will have to give up some project equity during scout drilling and early delineation phases... Now if he can net some PPs and utilize the entire DV arrangement at much higher prices and have some warrants executed, well he might have plenty of cash to drill the crap out of this and slide right into a large scale 60-40 type arrangement....
There is the Nord angle too which provides some flexibility... But in the end, the guys with all the cash and know-how will get their equity, rest assured. If this plays out anything like it is looking to, you will be very happy and these % will not mean much...
