Correct...but not all republicans agree along party lines and with the bill. Democratic senate and the dems on the banking committee did not like it at all.

Folks, understand the path this bill has to take. First, Republican leadership needs to allow this to be put to a floor vote. Even if it passes, then it would have to go to the Senate, which is controlled by the Dems and it will never pass. Worst case scenario, however, even if it did pass and went to Obama's desk, do you think he'd sign it? No, veto torpedo. It will never happen.

The Republican House majority are behaving like communists and trying to steal from private shareholders (compounding the theft through conservatorship). This has ZERO chance of ever becoming law.

And at the House floor the majority of them are Republicans



The US government will not be permitted to steal from private shareholders (wipe out FNMA or FMCC) or they'll collapse the entire lending industry.
