There's no need for $300 million "up-front". Milestones in partnerships typically include payments for milestones that can be achieved relatively quick...i.e. first patient enrolled, last patient enrolled, etc. So, if they start 5-10 new trials over the first year with a partner, and have $40 million in the bank already why would they need $300 million "up front"? It's just not how these deals are structured. You'll be let down greatly if you're expecting anything more than $100 million up front IMO.

The real question that will paint a clear picture of how BP value Bavi will be determined by reading the details. If PPHM keeps 50%+ of US revs and the deal reaches milestones up to $1B+ then we can all just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Anything more would be foolish to expect as a BP would more than likely want to simply buy the company.

BIOPHARM:

For these reasons, I can't possibly place Peregrine in the same league as PCYC (when they were at this smae stage)...they are well beyond their time and I'll say the time it took PCYC to go from $10 - $100 ... Peregrine will do in half the time (unless buyout)

That would make my "Retirement"...
