Yep,... that's the whole point of the TOX testing. If a prospective new drug or treatment causes significant harm early on, detectable in a small sample size,.... then what's the point of going onto additional study?
However - the fact that other PEG-based medicines and general chemicals have been tested previously and not generally found to cause cell damage or display general toxic characteristics in other applications does suggest that Toxicity isn't likely to be a short-term & chronic problem for Flucides, or the other 'cides.
It is unlikely that there will be a toxicity problem in humans if none has been noted to daet among mice for these formulations.
