Zargis, if I may I want to add this point. Investors may shy away from buying and selling more frequent under a dollar because the commission gets higher. I know for a fact that some brokers charge $4 others $7 etc... Per trade over a dollar, but once it drops belows, it's a higher cost...and some investors are not willing to pay. So it slows the buying and selling. This is just one of the reasons apart from the others you and others mentioned.
