Let's not not forget that according to Unicef between 1991 and today 1.6 Million Iraqis died as a result of malnutrition and insufficient medical care amoung them 550,000 kids and babies under 5 years of age.
According to UNICEF 131 out of 1000 kids under the age of 5 years died in 1999. Without the sanction UNICEF claims that only 25 out of 1000 kids would have died.
The US administration caries the full responsibility for those genozid since it alone stubbornly blocked 25 % of the medicin demand, 50 % of the import demand of medical devices and 75 % of the import for repairment on civil infrastructure like water supply which Iraq had the right to import under the "oil for food" program since 1996.
