my cousin upgraded his iPhone 4 (which got a crack from dropping it) to an iPhone 4S. I'll note that he saw no value in the iPhone 5, and didn't want to spend the extra $100 in it.


I wonder if this behavior common amongst 'normal' consumers.

It's interesting that the iPhone-5 CPU is *twice* as fast as the iPhone-4S CPU.

Perhaps smartphone CPU performance is already "good enough".
