It means that the company can't afford to have hordes of discontented shareholders crowding into the corporate offices demanding action or someone's head (or both).
Besides....shareholders can carry all sorts of germs and such. Better to avoid than mingle with the masses.
Well, I guess the only connection I could make is, like there was a special resolution like the HKHE deal.... some new deal or something to vote on.
Guess theres nothing to vote on? Or at least nothing in the forseeable future. It was also just a vague "I dont think so" via email so....leaves lots of doors open. It was always my understanding that companies had to do one a year, clearly I'm way off....
