I see you offer no solutions, thus the sand is in YOUR face. the problem is indeed complex but do you somehow think that the gun manufacturing lobby/NRA/Republican voting bloc ensuring easy access to guns without thorough background checks, particularly in adjacent states to the problem areas, is part of the solution?
Just slowing down the flow of cash-basis-behind-the-van guns to those areas would be a positive step IMHO, i realize they are already readily available, but over time, enforcement could probably at least have some effect. But again, that is only one leg on a complicated stool. Since you claim to have insight into such things, what are your solutions to the problem? Yelling at people who offer at least one avenue to help stem the problem in some small way probably isn't going to solve much, is it?
