This is a good point and I spoke to a very good friend in the App Development industry yesterday about the approval process and I asked something similar to your point. Due to the fact that Apple is FACETIME and it is the best/leading quality video application...how would they look upon a new an upcoming app that can reach cross platforms and what happens "IF" the quality was similar? I remember years ago when Mark stated our App and video quality would be that of FACETIME on STEROIDS - well I certainly do not believe that but what if we were close to that quality? My point was trying to understand the politics of Apple and the competition? Does one think "IF" our app was that of FACETIME quality and we can cross the bridge that Apple would just allow us? Would they make sure our app fails? Would they just simply suggest they would BUY our company/app? I mean we have a 1 million market cap. They buy that much in toilet paper a year for their staff.
It was a great heated discussion as this developer is obviously in love with Apple and he said there are no Video Apps that can come close to FACETIME crossing platforms due to blah blah blah - I didn't understand him.
I just hope our video is better than Tango and Skype
