Why does being 'short' or 'long' really matter?
Should I believe that because someone is short, they were the ones who initially pumped and dumped FNMA back in May, or caused some other disastrous affair to others?
My good sir, both sides can play the same way, and sometimes, there is no line at all. I expect the major pieces behind the pump and dump back then bought long on the way up and shorted after selling on the way down. Why not try for double profits?
My 'point' was not that you shouldn't 'burn shorts' but that you shouldn't treat people on this board, let alone anyone with such disrespect.
FNMA will rocket when we least expect it in the next 6-12 months... possibly 18.
Does that mean I should hate the people who might get stuck with paying a few hundred grand back to a stock broker?
Their loss is your gain... goes the other way too.

On another note, take this as food for thought.
In the past, I was not such a nice person, to put it lightly. I've held a friend in my arms, watched as her life essence drained away from her body because of my own selfish actions.
I am not that same person, nor will I ever be again.
The reason I tell this little story is simple; I pray you and anyone else I meet, never has to go through an ordeal such as I have.
You must understand that every action we make matters more than we could possibly comprehend, whether it be a mere turn of phrase, or cutting someone's throat.
Know VivaLasVegas420, I hold no malice in my tone for you.
Good luck to you, I sincerely hope you do well. (trading and life)
Goodnight everyone, may we have a good green day tomorrow :)
