Excellent post! I do agree that the leadership is most important, and NTEK does have great leadership.
One thing I'd like to point out about Steve Jobs, was that he took that calligraphy course in college, and it had a huge influence on him, and one reason Mac was a big deal when it first started out was because it had better typography than the PCs. This was the catalyst that snowballed into the whole "Mac is sexy, PC is boring" trope.
I know the logo itself isn't the most important factor about a company, but good design is definitely important for consumer products. NTEK has made tremendous strides in a short period of time, and I look forward to them updating their branding to match the awesomeness of their core products and vision.
