it appears an untrained ceo with little experience running a cutting edge biotech with no real scientific background and doing so all by himself was not much of an attraction to potential partners or banks...
huh...who could have imagined such a thing...i guess the big brain and advisory board wasnt enough?...guess what...they were never going to be...most companies and banks are run by people who consider themselves pretty smart at what they do...and they all know the advisory board is pretty much nothing but a prop...a nice facade...in other words, meaningless...
i have been saying kim needed to hire people for a while now...most shareholders however applauded kims frugality and insisted he did not need to hire anyone...i always said that was no place to be frugal...
now that kim has been turned down all over the place and he knows the reason why, NOW he wants to hire people who are experts at what they do...will he get a second chance to make a first impression?...he has apparently been making contact with individuals and businesses all over the place...he has developed a reputation...is it a good one?...
if we are to judge by results, it is doubtful...kim cannot afford many more mistakes...imo he doesnt have a whole lot of time either...thats not a good combination...
he needs to be able to show he has what it takes to get er done...the way you do that is with some measure of success or accomplishments...and not scientific..i dont think the science itself is an issue..at least i hope it isnt...thats the only thing holding this company above water...if theres reason to believe the science itself could have issues, then the whole company is toast...
