Who knows! Not me - but at least it involves a company - Chipcon - Airbee was partnered with. And TI did have an Airbee connection, too.

Maybe Intel will wake up and buy Airbee? If they don't want to be left out of the ZigBee picture entirely!?

ABEW is at a good price, too! Intel could probably buy the company for what....$1/share. LOL

Beigledog...I think you need to connect all of the dots to realize that the TI/Chipcon buy-out is GREAT NEWS for ABEW. The reason I say this is because TI spent several months (and a lot of money) testing ABEW's software on their new MPS430 chip before they finally signed a License Agreement with them.

However, the ZigBee software that Chipcon uses for their radios is from another software company called Figure8 - which has NOT been tested on TI's chips. Nor do I believe that TI plans on using their software. (Remember, Chipcon is known for their top-of-the-line RADIOS - not their software.)

Therefore, I believe that Texas Instrument will simply replace the software on Chipcons radios with ABEW's software. It's as simple as that. Eventually, it won't be long before the analysts start to realize this changeover and their focus sill shift to ABEW.

This is just my opinion of course.
