Its actually pretty complicated. As an ITMN long I've watched (in part frustration) at the agonizing pace the company has gone about it. There is probably game theory involved (I'm not sure the company has done it optimally) as you are balancing the price in one region with others so if you give in too quickly then other countries will want prices adjusted (downward). The other issues is patent/exclusivity and if you kill a couple years early on you lose that time on the tail.
