Sooooo... because you bought and sold at the wrong time AMGEN has no interest? You say there is no interest in partnering. The company is telling analysts that they have "SUITORS". I believe what the company says. If you don't trust them then you should sell your 500 shares. There are plenty of folks will gladly buy them! I believe that next year PPHM will be partnered(or bought out) and have phase III trials in NSCLC, brain cancer, breast cancer and liver cancer. They could also be into the clinic with second generation Bavi and Betabodies. And I won't even bother to mention the imaging potential and AVID's $20 million plus revenues.
What we need to keep in mind is that there are at least half a dozen BP's whose patented drugs are coming off patent, who have thin pipelines, and have multi-billions of dollars of cash and investments on hand. Amgen, J+J, Pfizer, Roche, Merck are just a few who have been mentioned by knowledgeable posters on this board. I don't claim to know who will partner or buyout PPHM but I am certain that there are "SUITORS" and those who have the foresight and courage to hold their shares will do very well. When will the partnering or buyout happen? I don't know. It could be very soon. GLTY.
