Yes, the email to all of the MJNA I.R. email subscribers looks amateur.

...would think a company worth tens of millions could fork over a few bucks to make a more professional looking email. It looked like it was slapped together in Microsoft Word by a 12 year old.

How about their OTC filings? MJNA filings are scanned in, and they aren't even straight. Last time, when they filed their quarterly after midnight, they didn't even get all the pages in initially - it just stopped. MJNA may be "worth tens of millions", but MJNA has minimal cash and minimal cash flow (except for selling shares).

This gum thing isn't shaping up very well for MJNA. I think that the product could be very successful if handled properly (and priced better, though, as I have figured and Det_Robert_Thorne so well demonstrated, it's on par with Dixie Botanicals). Posting a huge discount is the wrong way to go about it - the product needs to be sold on benefits. I continue to monitor the media for any mention. Zilch. Don't they have friends at "high" places that can write a review? Very few people will spend that much money on a product that has no compelling rationale. Is anyone out there recommending it on their facebook page? All those free trials - are those people reordering? Have they said nice things anywhere online? The constant barrage of emails is annoying and makes the company sound desperate, which it probably is. By mid-August, we will see how disappointing the launch was.

This description on the website doesn't make a compelling case at all:

About CanChew
CanChew gum is the first of its kind: A great-tasting gum with 10mg of cannabidiol (CBD) from the hemp plant. Combining the latest scientific research with innovative thinking, CanChew Biotechnologies developed a patented formulation that incorporates 50mg of CBD-rich hemp oil into each piece of gum.

Cultivated for thousands of years—and even grown by George Washington and Thomas Jefferson—the industrial hemp plant has a variety of health benefits. Devoid of the psychoactive component found in its cousin plant, marijuana, hemp seeds and hemp seed oil are today found in nutritional supplements, body care products, and foods like protein shakes and hemp seed snacks.

But unlike the hemp products found in grocery stores, the hemp oil in CanChew is derived from a specific cultivar of the industrial hemp plant, grown for its naturally higher concentrations of CBD.

If you were to try to get the 10mg of CBD found in one piece of CanChew from a health food store, you would have to consume five 8oz bottles of hemp seed oil—which would cost you around $40!

Using this blend of science and nature, CanChew is the first and only legal CBD-packed gum in the world. Have you had your CBD today?
