Though millions of dollars were raised in this scam trying to collect would probably be difficult in a private lawsuit though you can talk to an attorney and get their input. You can report this company and M. J. Shaheed to the SEC and various governmental agencies. I hope additional charges are levied against Mr. Shaheed with some demands to repay the victims of his scam for their losses including interest.
Sentencing for the charges that Mr. Shaheed plead guilty to is scheduled for July 1, 2013.
