Poker > I believe this is a seperate licence & royalty deal.

I'm not sure yet of the breakdown, But I don't think it is the same as the UK.

This was from Medify's update:

"We are also evaluating several opportunities to license our product to a number of our partners who wish to introduce it into various overseas markets. Should any such discussions eventually lead to licensing deals, it is anticipated that there would be an initial payment for the granting of such a license, followed by ongoing revenues on a royalty basis."

I am hoping that the 68 euro is the initial payment for the licenses per unit. 20k = 1,632,000
Followed by ongoing royalty payments. = ?

Just my take on it.

poker ... thanks for the reply and for not taking offense to my question ... i'd LOVE your theory to be correct ... i'd be crazy not to ... it just seemed like an awful lot of money going to just two guys from england!

the statement referred to 20,000 medify "remote units" which is where i get confused ...
in the UK, the NHS remote units are being supplied by vodaphone and/or orange, not medify ... right?
according to the statement, they're coming from medify ...

can anyone shed some light on this ...

thanks
