We intend to continue bidding on SBIR projects that are synergistic with our core competencies and business focus. With the ocean of cheap natural gas that is now available from shale fracking in the USA, we expect to see renewed interest in DME as a diesel fuel. Natural gas is the best feed stock for making DME, and at gas current prices DME can be produced at lower cost than diesel fuel (on an energy equivalent basis).
Given time and resources, we intend to expand our business into the fuel injection aftermarket, industrial and aerospace hydraulics and Surface Engineering businesses. Jim McCandless-President & CEO Alternative Fuel Technologies, Inc.
Surface Engineering - This is the area that I think is the most under the radar piece of DD that AFTC has put out. AFTC can use this tech knowlage for so many things in addition to DME pump, eng and fuel systems. IMO
