And how many will lose their jobs if they lose 50% of the business? You call that having the upper hand? And if YRC can't merge or buy ABF why did the two CEO's meet recently and why did ABF announce that they rejected the offer?

Everyone will lose if they vote down the contract. Less competition because there may likely be one less company. Less competition and the customer loses. No company and union and non union workers all suffer lose. Pass the contract and swallow hard. May not taste good but it's better than the alternative.

As I said, I hope they strike, I love it when unions get it stuffed right up their caboose. Strikers never win. Been on both sides of strikes in the 60s and 70s, much better to be on the company side. I was out 5 1/2 months once, we never never made up what we lost. Lose 50% of the business, big deal, they will sell. Lay offs and terminal closures are definitely not good for the union members. Who can last longer, a company or a union member losing $1200-1500 per week. DUMBASSES!!!!!! Good luck, I hope the fools strike.
