With nary a mention of real reason for the sudden and severe break in the PoG, namely the Japanese TOCOM Exchange doubling the margin for existing spec positions and tripling the margin requirements for new spec positions which sent the market tumbling to a couple of limit downs days before a meaningful number of 'stuck' longs were finally able to liquidate their positions.
