well i guess that customers will prefer to have the phone
roam to the highest cost service...
enter ebay, enter need for stand-alone phones, enter loss of
market share for telco that cant get a piece of skypes action
300,000,000 skype users, who doesnt want a piece of that
action, to keep skype users the phones will have to have a
preference for voip unless its not possible
users either have 2 accounts skype and cellular (which as a
matter of principal skype useres will not go for) OR they
can get extra service (read about skype they like to add
service in). 300,000,000 users and growing is a slice of
pie that cannot be ignored, just 300 bucks / year for cellular
when out of broad band range ammounts to a 100billion dollar
market...lol
that could fetch users unlimited service 24/7 because of the
off loading service, no suprises
pclee's article makes it clear your vision of uma is a rip
off, i repeat RIP OFF,
sorry stitch...wipe out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the beauty of clyw being in the phone business is that
customers need no comittment for extra service if they do
skype--they can just add it in later
