It's almost like they're presuming Intel is going on a safari somewhere. I realize that they weren't successful in their previous attempts to compete with Intel but this flailing attempt for a new direction seems pathetic.

Agreed. Their new roadmap looks a lot less competitive than their old roadmap - and their old roadmap wasn't competitive.
