Always buy as many shares as you can afford to lose. Any gains and money you make on it is a good thing. Whatever money you are starting with is just that. A start. The plan is to build that portfolio over the next 10 20 years.

When your just starting out, and gravitate towards pinks, I would like to suggest that you limit the amount you invest to the amount you are willing to completely lose. This stock has huge potential, which is why we are all here, but this is all speculation. Once you have traded for awhile, and you start to get used to the emotions of gaining and losing money, then its time to up the ante. If you start strong you might trade on emotion, and trading on emotion will lose you money. IMO ;)

FNMA,
Welcome to FNMA and to the stock market, Jedidiah. You are enumerating some very valid points which will - each at a given time - have its specific positive impact on the PP's of FNMA. Given the fact that the era of President Obama will terminate in 2016 I imagine that the "housing probleme" could very well turn out to be one of the top issues of his mandatory, why? - because a) practically all US-citizens are confronted with this issue and b) the lawsuits against the government are definitely a huge deal, c) President Obama can make history by getting rid of a corrupt banking system as well by having installed a new Housing authority, giving justice to FNMA and FMCC... Dreaming a little,.. but I am sure that your target of $50,00 is not far-fetched. IMHO it's a realistic first PP's target if you consider FNMA from an investor's point of view. Of course it will not happen next week or next month, but with a company of such dimensions and such constant huge profits, a great share structure, many hedge-funds holding huge stakes in it, I don't know why not?!

Good Luck to You and to our FNMA gang!

Kind regards from Vienna/Austria
