Rennw, read this part of a post from Cowboy earlier today...
"The other subject I would like to address here is everyone that is trying to find listings on the Leases that PBLS has acquired. First of all we are dealing with government whether its local, state or federal. It takes time for all the appropriate documents to be filled out and filed let alone be listed on their web sites or on their registers. But they will all show up soon enough.
I was told the Wyoming Deal is done and should soon be showing up and the Nevada Deal is in the paper work stage and also should be showing up soon, which could mean a couple more weeks. I'm sure this will all come to light very soon. People nowadays like instant gratification whether in a pill, drink or for that matter information gathering. Sometimes it just does not happen that fast. Besides I have never ever known the government to be fast about anything and when pushed they even work slower."
PBLS mgmt commented today on the few immediate demands for proof by the State of the Nevada lease by investors.
They've paid for the lease and the transfer of title is in progress and then it'll get to the state department to eventually get inputted into their system for public display... this does not take days even weeks in some cases.
Although it may look otherwise, only a few people have taken issue with this situation of no immediate gratification for finding brand new leases.
Hi- this is my last alloted post so I won't be able to reply- I think treepeople already answered this but I can tell you in Kentucky I had to search also under John Barksdale and midsouth resources- I will tell you this- Grizzy has this stuff down pat- if he's lurking he would be the guy to ask- I had planned to post a bunch of stuff about the KY leases and production on Friday and also I found some interesting stuff on the western leases too-
Griz gave me some Hellaciuosly good [is that even a word?] DD and I would say if he's willing - start with him!
Also the BLM will actually call you back and is a very good resource.
The funny/strange thing is I don't think PBLS or Rome knows exactly where their western leases are. IMO
