Determining book value of a security is a process. You can easily get confused if you are trying to use investopedia's example. I gave you a few formulas of the process. But you need to be familiar with each process and how the numbers are derived. Sure it is easy to look at what some analyst thinks book value is, but he/she had to go through a process of formulas to get to that number. I apologize but I don't think I have time to teach you or explain further. Can I assume you have minimal or no background in accounting and finance? Do you know how to look at a company's income statement and perform a vertical or horizontal analysis? That is very basic. Trying to get a feel for what you know......
