One poster that claimed to be at the Vegas show says that the display is a red or green light. Red for "damn, its bad stuff there" and green for "its alright, baby"....

No operator involvement, except to load the sample and maybe press a button.

Of course, I think that it may have been MOON that posted that. Can't remember.

Since there is said to be no computer hooked up, the storage device is maybe a flash memory. they come in gigabyte size now for less than a 100 bucks. The power supply? I see no plug in wires in the pictures, so probably re-chargeable batteries.

I dunno how much a UVF spectrometer costs, I ain't got wunna them.

Yeah, they ain't any money in this gadget. BAXA can add it to the sales portfolio, and maybe sell a few copies. Or get somebody else to make it for them, or simply build them for themselves if they sell.

CDEX has no patent, and not much money with which to file suit.
