Timing of the market is almost impossible. I have tried so many ways to time the market, trade on technicals, etc. I have read so many books, attended classes, and learned the various strategies of trading. Through it all there are good ideas and rules that have worked for various people. The problem is the stock market is not just based on technicals. It is still based on human intellect, emotion, and action.

As long as that is the case behaviors can be studied, tested, but never completely understood. Why people hit the buy or sell button isn't consistent each time. Trends, earnings, history, hype, and value don't always produce the same results in the pps.

The only thing I have found to be successful in trading is patience. The market eventually gets it right. Eventually the market will price a stock according to it's true value. It may only trade there for about 3-4 months, or maybe longer or shorter, but the market will find it. The key is to know what the true value of a stock is, then be patient enough to wait until it reaches that point. That is how riches are made, and lives are changed.

Timing the market is impossible. Being patient on the market is a guaranteed success.
