#1354 RE: Luxeguy #1352

luxe - i appreciate your enthusiasm and your input. the point i am making financially with respect to capital leverage is the owners may not have the choice/luxury of deciding whether or not to sell. raising capital is not a matter of whether or not you get the capital - it is more of a matter of what the cost of that capital is. without collateral or strong metrics - that cost becomes very high and ends up being substantial dilution.

as in investor - you may believe in the company and strategy but there is no sense in buying now if you can get 5x10 the same number of shares for the same capital employed after the dilution takes place. that is the difference between believing in the brand/strategy and investing based on Wall Street metrics.

this company/brand has a very interesting melding of the two. the balance sheet does NOT provide a sound footing to invest at this time but their apparent roll out, distribution increases, move to larger facility, and market presence suggest that they will accelerate those revenues and shore up the balance sheet in short order.

you have the advantage of first hand knowledge that the product is legitimately moving and accelerating. i dont. i have to take your word for it on a message board which is not the way one should enact due diligence. if you were in my area, or if i were able to go to the bevnet conference, i would invite you for a beer and meet you in person and go over these numbers.

right now - i have to gauge your numbers on sales with company filings and the (very) limited data points i have in my area.

this is the true power of message boards. individual investors being able to combine resources/due diligence in trying to ferret out information in filings or confirm/validate the numbers with what is actually going on.
