If AAPL drops after not meeting inflated expectations, buy back before MW.

That's backwards, ain't it? Earnings are after MW.

AAPL weighting -

roni, since you consider yourself to be 'way overweight' in AAPL, trimming back half might be a good idea. I've always felt that was a good strategy when I was holding a bunch of something and some good/bad news was coming.

If it turns out to be good news, you can still comfort yourself that it was a mature and prudent decision to rebalance the portfolio.

If it turns out to be bad news, you can brag about how smart you were to rebalance the portfolio.

It sounds like you've had a good string of wins recently, getting into the capital preservation mode (without getting wimpy about it), might be just what the doctor ordered.

Good (continued) luck with it! - KCMW

roni: If I was overweight

... AAPL (:), which I'm not (any more, since I sold it all), then I would buy PIXR.

Same boss, different ... deal.

Well, OK, I may be overweight (in PIXR, as if life), even if not in AAPL. Chuckle.

The action the last few days has been tempting!

On 'nother subject, I was bored by B5. I liked the captain guy in the first season. That guy from the Western seemed like a random change. And I liked Pulaski. Call me crazy. I really wanted to like B5, too. But the spotty-head guys played like drama queens with bad accents. And Chekhov just wasn't very scary, though that psy-chick was nice to look at until she got that other Friend-ly job. All very confusing, I know. Which is kinda my point (if not exactly directed at you).

Now if only I had cable, I would be able to check out episodes of Cattlecar Bad-actica beyond the first one. I actually liked it the first time around. Call me crazy (again). I kinda liked the first episode(s) of the new edition, too, which they actually showed on broadcast TV, before it started to be popular.

DRM. Ah, me.
