Ah, Slo, I broke a bone in the damn thumb. Thought it was only a cut and bruising. I should be out of commission for a few weeks, according to the doctor. So I have to stare at an unfinished floor for some time. I wonder how long I can hold out before I violate the doc's orders and dive in.
